What a busy week!  Today I hung my solo show in the Eve Smart gallery at the GIBSONS PUBLIC ART GALLERY (GPAG) which opens tomorrow and continues to Nov 8th. The 15 works in the show are focused on water--waves, beaches, ocean views and quiet marshes--and the show is titled FLOW as a result. I am pleased with how it looks--hope some of you can come by to see it! I'll be doing a slide presentation and demo of soft pastels on SUNDAY NOV 1, from 2-4 pm, at GPAG, because I am unable to be present for the opening reception of my show (along with that of the main gallery artist, Colin Righton), scheduled as it is on Saturday afternoon, in the middle of this weekend's ART CRAWL on the Sunshine Coast. I will be in my studio (#110 on the Crawl)!

I am pumped to be part of the Art Crawl experience for the second year, and excited about meeting collectors old and new during the event's three days (Friday 10-5, plus 7-9 pm), Saturday and Sunday 10-5). I'll be painting throughout the weekend whenever I can, but happy to chat with visitors and share a cup of hot lemon tea (and maybe a cookie or two). Lots of new works on the walls--come see!
