Recently a number of new products have been developed in the world of visual arts. I've been using a line of "open" acrylics that stays wet longer than usual, and now I am exploring water-soluble oils.

It may seem counter-intuitive (oil and water don't mix) but these paints can be thinned and cleaned up with water only (no solvents). The results of my exploration are shown in this gallery. All the paintings are on panels of MDF (medium density fibreboard) with hanging strips on the back. They can be hung as is, or framed conventionally if you wish.
